For most trips, a sports car is the better choice. It is easier to drive every day and costs less to rent than a supercar. Prox Rentals rents sports cars, coupes, convertibles and luxury SUVs. We do not rent supercars.
Below, we explain the difference in plain terms. Then we show what you can rent from us and what it costs.
What Is a Sports Car?
A sports car is built to be fun to drive. It feels quick, sharp and lively on the road.
Many sports cars are also practical. You can drive one to dinner, park it at a mall and take it on the highway. Some are hatchbacks or convertibles with room for passengers.
What Is a Supercar?
A supercar sits at the extreme end of performance. These cars are rare, very expensive to buy and costly to look after.
They are often low, wide and loud. That makes them exciting for a short drive. It also makes them harder to live with in traffic, on speed bumps and in car parks.
The Main Differences
| Point | Sports car | Supercar |
|---|---|---|
| Rental cost | Lower | Much higher |
| Everyday driving | Easy | Harder |
| Best for | A day, a week or longer | A short special occasion |
| Availability at Prox Rentals | Yes | No |
Which One Suits Your Trip?
Think about how you will use the car. A sports car makes sense if you want fun on a sensible budget. It also suits longer rentals and mixed city and highway driving.
If you want comfort and presence instead, a luxury SUV is a strong option. It suits families, groups and business trips.
